Designed and hand made by Halinka this pair of skaters are dressed in colours touched by moonlight. They were based on the rhyme ‘Oh soldier, soldier won’t you marry me’ and skating on a frosty moon lit night! The girl has a skirt made from a 1930‘s cream muslin shot with a silver thread, a crushed velvet coat with silver buttons and a charming bonnet made from 1950‘s metallic fabric that was apparently used for shoes! The boy has dark lilac trousers, a tail coat made from 1930’s metallic linen and a top hat made of the 1950’s shoe fabric. There is a lot of vintage fabric used so each set of clothes may be slightly different from the next. They measure approximately 13 to 14cm tall and arrive together in their own gift box.
